When the owners first bought the property their plan was to build a guest house to stay in while the main house was built, but they loved the guest house and decided to add on to it instead.

The result is an intimate house that has a combination of shared and separate spaces so that even when the house is full of people, there are small private places and links to the outside from almost every room.
